My Pretty Cousin Mather

Last week Aunt Emily and Uncle Dan came to town and they
brought their daughter Mather with them. She's a year and
ten months old and is supposed to be very beautiful; I wouldn't
know because I can only see eight inches in front of my face.

As many of my readers know I've proclaimed myself to be the
most beautiful child in the world. This creates a slight problem
with the family dynamic - this kid is really supposed to have the
goods, big blue eyes, the works. Fortunately daddy took a photo
of the two of us together so you the public can decide.

It sure is a shame that it came out blurry - daddy has to work on
his f-stops.

Cora, you are very pretty, but this isn't a competition.

They are both darling, little dolls! Mather's eyes are like precious stones set into the crown of a fairy tale princess. Cora's eyes are like deep pools at the bottom of a wishing well. Their voices are like tiny waterfalls in an enchanted glade, their cries are like the call of an thousand eagles. Their poops smell like honey; you can spread them on toast and live forever.

Enjoy the sights and sounds and smells of babydom while they last!

Of course their both adorable little girls
and I would be the first to admit that
if only the photo wasn't blurred. Maybe
next trip.

As the site administrator I'll have to throw a flag
on Steve for abuse of prose. Five yards, first
down.
